Reflection
I am back from winter vacation. In 2008, many things made me really happy : New friends, new teachers, Japan field trip..Especially new friends. Han Ah, Ji You, Yoo Vin, Mi Jeong, Min Jeong , and someone I really love as a friend(husband, haha), Seo Hyun. We did lot of things together. I will really really really really really miss them. And new teachers, I met . Mr. Voborsky and Ms.Lee. They are kind and gave me lot of advices. Everything made me really feel nice in 2008.
I will be sad saying good bye to them. People I met in 2008. We might never meet again, or we might meet in the middle school. I’m sure that I will keep in touch with them. Anyway, the best thing we did in 2008 is field trip and buddy. Japan field trip was wonderful. We sleeped a lot, we played, and we shopped together. I think Japan field trip made me to get a present named Friends!! Especially, going to universal studio was really fun. Even I am scared of rides, I enjoyed walking around with friends.
Many friends left 6-4 though. But we will never forget the fact that they were in 6-4. I wish they will study well in middle school they go. And be happy wherever they go! I wish them really a good luck. I am sure that they will study well. 6-4 was really really wonderful class. I wish we can keep in touch with each other!!

About Egypt
<<So many informations.. Too much work….Driving me crazy!>>
Egypt!??
BEAUTIFUL country…Yes that’s right. Anyway, what about weather? It is hot and dry, but it is different in Winter. In the winter, it is kind of cold in the North. In the desert, it is scorching during the day and bitterly cold at night.

Now Writing
(Just starting with second paragraph)
In the past, people were interested with the space. Going to the outer space was their dream, and we can know it by their stories and novels. For example, there is a story about a son and father, going to the upper sky by wax and the bird’s feathers, however, even his father warned not to go close to the sun, because wax might melt, the son went close to the sun and fell into the sea. The people in the past had a dream of flying to the outer space, but they added lesson. Anyway, the people in the past didn’t just stop thinking of flying to the outer space even though they failed a lot. The rocket was first made in the China. Chinese made a small rocket, which was for celebrations. It was more like fireworks, and it was used for a battle. Chinese also made a fire arrow like a rocket. It was used for a war, they threw it to the enemies. Like these things, Chinese was the first one who made a similar things to rocket. But later, not just China, U.S. , Europe, and different countries also made a rocket for the war. However, rockets were not just for the wars. They were inventions for many other things. For example, instead of killing people by rocket, British and American saved people’s lives by rocket. It saved almost 1,000 people, by carrying a line over 1000 feet to a stranded ship. There was novel idea. The idea was to make a postal rocket, delivering mails from one location to another. It iskind of nonsense for us, and of course it didn’t work out well. Anyway, rockets were not just for inventions, but it appeared a lot in Sience Fiction. Like these things I told you, rocket was like a ‘dream’ for the people in the past.

TAMING THE FIRE: Rocketry before the 20th century
Before Korolev, before Tsiolkovskiy, Russian artillery engineers fascinated with missiles tried hard to tame rocket power. It took centuries to perfect these ancient machines
Although the Russian scientific elite was primarily concentrated in centers such as Moscow and St. Petersburg, far from two capitals, a modest physics teacher conceived some of the most remarkable ideas about the future of the human race. Almost unknown to its contemporaries, Tsiolkovskiy’s work decades later was universally accepted as a theoretical foundation of modern astronautics

ROCKET!!
- About rocket!
A rocket launch is the first phase of the flight of a rocket. For orbital spaceflights, or for launches into interplanetary space, rockets are launched from a launch pad, which is usually a fixed location on the ground but may also be on a floating platform such as the San Marco platform, or the Sea Launch launch vessel.
“Rocket launch technologies” generally refers to the entire set of systems needed to successfully launch a vehicle, not just the vehicle itself, but also the firing control systems, ground control station, launch pad, and tracking stations needed for a successful launch and/or recovery.
When launching a spacecraft to orbit, a “dogleg” is a guided, powered turn during ascent phase that causes a rocket’s flight path to deviate from a “straight” path. A dogleg is necessary if the desired launch azimuth, to reach a desired orbital inclination, would take the ground track over land (or over a populated area, e.g. Russia usually does launch over land, but over unpopulated areas). Doglegs are undesirable due to extra onboard fuel required, causing heavier load, and a reduction of vehicle performance.
